The port of Castellón, belongs to everyone. This is the result the long expressed desire of the people of Castellón, and for this reason the Port Authority has as one of its main objectives to open the port to the citizens of Castellón, make it more accessible and give them a chance to get to know it better. So far various open days have already been held.
A large team of professionals is assembled, including guides and providers of information, port police as well as volunteers who will attend to the visitors who wish to make use of this opportunity to visit the port.
The open day allows visitors to see at first hand what the port has achieved as well as to learn about the investments planned for the future, which will secure Castellón place in the top ten of Spanish ports. Explanations will also be given concerning plans to secure the long term future of the port and care of the environment.
