The Port of Castellon is one of the top 10 Spanish ports in goods throughput, thanks to the joint efforts of its port community and the team of people I represent. Today, the city of Castellon cannot be understood without its port, which is vital for creating jobs and wealth in the surrounding areas. Our facility is also a meeting point for logistics, industry and the city to come together.

PortCastelló looks to the future with ambitious projects on the horizon. These will enable it to become more competitive, consolidate its position as a driving force for economic growth, and attract manufacturing investment. Our port is always at the service of Castellon’s productive sectors, because they are our main allies.

We will continue to work towards making PortCastelló a benchmark in environmental protection. Likewise, we will continue to support our social environment and forge strategic alliances with organisations and the private sector to respond to the challenges posed by shipping, international logistics and markets.

I would like to highlight the innovative spirit of the Port Authority of Castellon as a tool to achieve success, as well as the road we have embarked on towards digital transformation, which will open up opportunities for growth and provide added value for our companies. This transformation is a challenge that we are more than willing to take on because it will make us more efficient, reduce costs and improve our relationship with our customers.

I would also like to highlight the numerous social initiatives that we are promoting to ensure that our port interacts effectively with the province.

Based on the above, we look to the future with great enthusiasm, aiming to respond to one of the key objectives in our strategic plan, which is to turn PortCastelló into a major logistics hub for the Valencian Region.
