BOE publishes appontiment of Enrique Vidal Pérez as Port Authority of Castellón president

The Valencian Government endorsed his nomination on 4 April

Spain’s Official State Gazette (BOE) has today published the appointment of Enrique Vidal Pérez as president of the Port Authority of Castellon, replacing Rafa Simó in the post.

Enrique Vidal’s nomination as the new head of PortCastelló was approved by the Valencian Government on 4 April.

Mr Vidal has a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s degree in Development Aid from Jaume I University, where he has also worked as an associate lecturer. He has additionally been a lecturer at the “Ortega y Gasset” Summer School at Menéndez Pelayo International University in Santander.

He has been president of the Castellon Economist Association and president of the Consortium of Economist Associations of the Valencian Region.

He is a member of the Social Council at Jaume I University and the Universitat Empresa Foundation.

He has an outstanding track record in business management, including as Business Area Director and Regional Director for Castellon and Catalonia at Caixa Rural Credicoop, later Ruralcaja and Cajamar.

He was then named General Manager of the City of Arts and Sciences, a post he held from 2015 to 2022 when he was appointed Deputy Director in the Directorate General at Castellon airport (AEROCAS).
