PortCastelló Open Day

The Port Authority of Castellón organizes open days for Saturday 22 October to open the port to the public and publicize the importance of this infrastructure in generating employment and wealth in its surroundings, the environmental protection measures to to be a green and sustainable port and the actions for an effective port-city integration.

Those interested will be able to get to know PortCastelló on a tour by bus and also by boat. The departures of the buses will start at 9:00 in the morning from the Maritime Harbor, and will last until 3:00 p.m.

The boat visits will start at 10:00 in the morning at the El Clavel dock, on the Costa pier, and will last until 6:00 p.m. No prior registration is necessary to access either of the two means of transport, although those who have previously traveled by bus will have priority to board the boat.

Citizens have that Saturday the opportunity to get to know the commercial port of the province of Castellón, and to also enjoy a fun day with numerous activities related to Al Port.

Precisely on Saturday October 22 will be one of the big days of the Al Port cycle. The day begins at 11 a.m. with a talk by journalist Vicente Vallés in Sala Varadero, where he will present his latest novel, Operación Kazán, recounting little-known aspects of his life in an intimate interview, and will end with a signing of books.

Sara Bellés will finish her mural at 12 o’clock in the boathouses located in front of the Club Náutico de Castellón, and at the same time, the concerts will begin in Plaça Sète.

It is recommended to access the Grau de Castelló by public transport given the large concentration of public that is expected for that Saturday.
