PortCastelló and the Castelló Town Hall collaborate in the celebration of the 3×3 football tournament that will take place in Plaça Sète del Grau on November 26 and 27. The event will be enlivened by the promoter of the initiative: ‘Doctore Pollo’, an `influencer´ from Grau de Castelló who has more than 2.4 million subscribers on his YouTube channel with his football challenges and who has published the book ‘The Crazy Crew and the Galactic League’, in which an amazing soccer championship loaded with challenges becomes the only hope to prevent aliens from enslaving our planet.
The leisure-sports event will be of a charitable nature and will contribute to revitalizing the Port of Castelló and opening it up to the public.
The president of the Port Authority of Castellón, Rafa Simó, has indicated that “our objective is to carry out all kinds of entertainment activities under the Al Port brand and this tournament, hand in hand with the City Council and the grau youtuber Doctore Pollo, will serve so that this weekend PortCastelló welcomes hundreds of visitors who will be able to enjoy our facilities and our gastronomy while having a good time with their family”.
For his part, the Councilor for Youth of the Castelló City Council, Jorge Ribes, stressed that it is an event “whose purpose is 100% charitable and that will contribute to revitalizing the Port and Grau”. “From the council, and in collaboration with PortCastelló, we have organized this charity tournament in which there will be a series of prizes for the different categories and which is focused on the young public”, Ribes indicated.
The football championship will take place on Saturday 26, in the morning and afternoon, and on Sunday morning. Registration is now open and 100% of the proceeds will go to charity, specifically to the MEF2C association, founded by relatives of children diagnosed with this syndrome.
Three categories have been established: from 11 to 15 years mixed, from 16 years or more masculine and feminine. There will also be matches for children under 11 years of age without competitive purposes.
It is a first edition that was born with a vocation for continuity.
