PORTCASTELLÓ CALLS FOR THE THIRD EDITION OF THE CULTURAL CYCLE IN THE PORT

20 December 2022

Al Port is a combination of art, music, talks and popular culture that aims to energize the recreational area and consolidate PortCastelló as a reference space

The Castellón Port Authority has put out to tender the new programming for 2023 for an amount of 95,000 euros + VAT. A cultural and entertainment project that was born at the beginning of the year with the aim of strengthening ties with the environment and generating an attractive maritime façade for citizens through a cycle of differential, free activities with a high qualitative and integrating value.

PortCastelló is now putting out to tender the third edition of Al Port, after reaping great success in its first two editions. The creation and launch of this initiative is part of the strategic line “Social Impact” of PortCastelló’s Strategic Plan 2024, which aims to achieve an integration of the port with society in a way that allows it to be recognized as a leading port in transparency and sustainability, being an institution committed to the SDGs and that places the environment and people at the center of its actions and decisions.

This third edition contemplates the development of a program of performances linked to music. Specifically, it provides for the development of 15 Concerts at the Port, 2 at the Electronic Port, and 5 urban art performances.

The proposals that are presented must be designed with all audiences in mind, although some activities may be specialized, contemplating, among other aspects, gender parity in programming and the promotion of our Valencian language.
