PortCastelló has received a wide representation of companies integrated in Xarxatec -Associació d´empreses tecnològiques de Castelló- to publicize its expansion plans, as well as to inform them of the Ports 4.0 initiative promoted by the Public State Ports Organization. A capital fund that aims to attract, support and facilitate the expansion of talent and entrepreneurship in the Spanish public and private logistics-port sector.
The conference served to strengthen relations between the port world and the technological-innovative sector of the province, as well as to inform about the growth and consolidation strategy of the port through new railway infrastructures to increase the connectivity of the port and projects such as `Octopus´, which will make it possible to gain 885 meters of dock and 420,000 square meters in the south dock to attract investment, establish new industries and gain freight traffic.
