Certificado EFR

The Castellón Port Authority has received the EFR certificate for the Family Responsible Company, awarded by the Masfamilia Foundation. This quality seal recognizes good practices in terms of reconciling work and family life and equal opportunities. Specifically, it has achieved a score that allows it to be classified as a Committed Company.

It thus becomes the first entity in the province of Castellón to obtain this certificate.

The Castellón Port Authority has gradually implemented various measures with the aim of helping to balance the personal and professional life of its human team in areas such as temporal and spatial flexibility, family support, personal and professional development. These initiatives have been audited to confirm that they comply with the conciliation regulations.

The president of this public body, Rafa Simó, has pointed out that this certificate makes visible “our commitment to being a healthy company, contributing to the well-being of the people who make up our organization and promoting a new socio-labor culture present in our Strategic Plan.”

The entities that obtain this certificate undertake to maintain and improve the existing conciliation measures, as well as to implement new ones. Among the measures implemented by the Castellón Port Authority are the development of an action protocol against workplace harassment, a Code of Conduct, the creation of the Equality and Conciliation Commission, the flexible hours associated with training, caring for minor or major, and social benefits

The EFR initiative, led by Fundación Masfamilia, is an international movement that aims to advance and provide answers in terms of responsibility and respect for reconciling family and work life, supporting equal opportunities and the inclusion of the most disadvantaged.
