The Board of Trustees of the PortCastelló Foundation has approved the budget for 2021, which amounts to 332,500 euros, which is 1.5% less than the previous year. The budget also contemplates a decrease in expenses of 1.8%.
Likewise, the board has approved the program of activities for next year, which have as a common objective the commercial promotion of the port of Castelló in various areas: tourism, ceramics, intermodality, logistics, energy and agri-food sectors. It has also announced the activities to be developed to expand the hinterland and foreland of the port of Castellón.”The objective is to enhance the role of the Foundation as a link with the Port Community and as a commercial instrument at the service of the projection of our logistics and port sectors”, explained the President of the Foundation, Rafa Simó.
For this promotion of the port of Castellón, the entity plans to attend various fairs, face-to-face or virtual, such as FITUR (Madrid), Seatrade Cruise Europe (Hamburg), International Cruise Summit (Madrid), CEVISAMA (Valencia), CERSAIE (Bologna), DESTACA (Vila-real), International Logistics Exhibition (Barcelona), Breakbulk Europe (Bremen) and Fruit Attraction (Madrid).
At present time, the Foundation already has 24 entities: between employers, associates and collaborators. The president of the Castellón Port Authority has valued the role of the PortCastelló Foundation as “an ally of the Port Community and a key and useful instrument for the productive sectors of Castellón”.
