Digitalization will be the focus of the Focus Pyme conference ‘The process, product and customer experience in a 4.0 company’
The headquarters of the Port Authority of Castelló today hosted the presentation of the Focus Pyme and Entrepreneurship Industry 4.0 conference entitled ‘The process, product and customer experience in a 4.0 company’, and it will take place on October 4 at PortCastelló. The director general of IVACE, Júlia Company, presented the meeting together with the president of the Port Authority, Francisco Toledo, and the president of the Spanish Association of Ceramic Technicians (ATC), Juan José Montoro.
Organized jointly by CEEI Castellón and ATC, the conference will analyze the current impact of Industry 4.0, a revolution that combines advanced production techniques and operations with intelligent technologies that are already being integrated into organizations in virtually all sectors. In addition to responding to the needs of the companies of the SOMA Tech Hub Technology Community, the meeting will serve as a prelude to the XV International Congress of Ceramic Technicians , the ATC is preparing, on the same topic, for the 7th and 8th of November.
In the presentation, Júlia Company emphasized the role of Focus Pyme and Entrepreneurship in the policy of support for the innovative entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Sustainable Economy and IVACE “that is why we will continue to do our part so that this conference continues to grow and become more specialised. ”
To this end, the head of IVACE has announced that in 2020, the Institute plans to support a new format of Focus Pyme called Talent Entrepreneurship Forums that consists of round tables with success stories that can serve as a stimulus for new entrepreneurial initiatives.
On the subject of the day of October 4, Company referred to the need for SMEs in the province to invest in business digitalization and be able to compete on equal terms in the global market.
He stressed that in the 2018 call for grants to aid in digitalisation of business processes, the Institute has supported twice as many digitization projects as in the previous year: of 58 projects submitted, almost 93% were financed, and more and more applications are received , which demonstrates substantial interest in this topic. ”
For his part, Toledo thanked PortCastelló for choosing to stage the conference at the Port and thanked IVACE for the importance it attaches to the ceramic sector, as well as congratulating the Director General for her commitment to “continuously improve business competitiveness”. Likewise, the president of the Port Authority has praised ATC, “a very special professional association, with a transversality that gives it added value and with a performance record that supports it”.
In his speech, Montoro stressed that “together we have the responsibility to adapt to technological changes in our society”, and recalled the previous Focus Pyme meetings held around Industry 4.0. The president of ATC remarked that the day will be held in PortCastelló “for being the best example in terms of adaptation to the needs of our industry and our society.” During the conference, Montoro indicated that, very different aspects related to Industry 4.0 would be analyzed, from the Digital Ceramic Twin, by Juan Boix, responsible for the Industrial Processes Area of AICE-ITC, to predictive maintenance, by Joaquin Carretero, director of Strategy in Industry 4.0 of Nunsys, going through the management of hardware, communications and data in production lines, in this case by Alejandro J. Móner, Field Sales Engineer of Omron. Likewise, the participants will be able to make the traceability of the product more precise (with Santiago Sanz, commercial technician of Sacmi Ibérica and Rocersa and Javier Gaya, of People and Technologies) or in the efficiency of processes and control systems, with Alfredo Cebrián, CEO of Cuatroochenta and Mario Catalán Campos CDO and Key Account Manager of Zeus Smart Visual Data. Finally, Víctor Rodríguez, CEO of Pinchaaquí.es will analyze the customer experience, leading on to the conclusions, which will be presented by Maria Moreno, CEO of Zhero Ingeniería and Aristóteles Cañero, director of PEAKS Business School.
