The Port Authority of Castellón has awarded the prizes for the V Christmas card competition ‘Draw your Christmas with the port’ in which a total of 80 school children between the ages of 3 and 12 have participated.
The Moruno building was the place chosen as the venue for the event and the prizes were awarded by the President of the Port Authority , Francisco Toledo, along with the jury who decided on the prize winners. This year the jury was composed of Cristina Gabà, representing the Art School, José García, representing the Beni-Art Association, and the well known artists from Castellón Amat Bellés and Marco Maseda.
The winners this year were Julia Guallart, Lucía Navarro and Balma Claros in the three established categories. Their drawings have been used as a basis for the Christmas card being sent out by the Port Authority this year.
ll the school children received a small gift in return for their participation which is a part of the policy of the Port Authority of Castellón to promote close relations between the port and the town.
The drawings will be exhibited until the 6th of January in the Moruno building, situated in the Plaza del Mar del Grao, from Monday till Friday between 1700 and 2100 hours and Saturdays and Sundays from 12.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 21.00.
