10,000 School children visit the leisure ares of the Port of Castellón
An important objective of the Port Authority of Castellón is to promote a good relationship between the port and the town.
A total of 10,000 school children have visited the leisure area of the port of Castellón so far this year. The pupils are from primary and secondary schools in the town which are participating in an a programme organized by the department of Social Welfare and Dependency of Castellón Town Council and the Community Unit for the Prevention of Addictions.
This education project includes cinema as a tool to prevent addictions and to inform young people of the risks they should avoid. The Port of Castellón is in charge of making the parking space available for the school buses, organize traffic and to attend to the pupils during their visit to the leisure area of the port of Castellón as well as looking after them entering and leaving the cinema, Neocine de Puerto de Azahar.
In the way the Port Authority of Castellón is cooperating with an education project, while continuing its policy to promote activities in the Moll de Costa area and consolidate the good relations between the port and the town.
