The president of the Port Authority of Castellón, Francisco Toledo, will propose Sebastián Pla Colomina for the post of vice-president of the Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Castellón. Toledo will make a formal proposal to the Board of Directors at the next meeting in order to substitute Rafael Montero, after leaving his position as general secretary of the Confederación de Empresarios de Castellón (CEC).
Sebastián Plá is currently president of the Association of Shipping Agents and
Port Businesses of Castellón ( Asociación de Consignatarios y Empresas Portuarias de Castellón – ACEP) and is director of ‘ Sucesores de Sebastián Roca S.A.’, a company which has been operating in the port for more than a hundred years as shippings agents, and providing loading and unloading services and as customs consultants.
With this appointment the president of the Port Authority of Castellón, Francisco Toledo, wishes to recognise “the fundamental importance of port companies for PortCastelló.”The position of vice-president of the Board of Directors is unpaid and one of the responsibilities it implies is to “substitute for the President if the position is vacant, or he is absent or sick. In this case,” he is able to carry out all those functions delegated to him by the president or by the Board of Dirctors”, as is established by the Law of State Ports and the Merchant Marine.
