The president of the Generalitat, Mr. Alberto Fabra, explained that “it is essential” to improve infrastructures and generate more synergy together with the strategic business sectors, with the aim of improving its competitiveness and potential to the Valencian Community.
Mr. Fabra made these statements during the conference “Port and tile: a necessary future”, placed in the lecture series Future and challenges of the Port of Castellon”, where he explained that it is essential to consolidate the geostrategic location of the Valencian Community as the South door to Europe.
Regarding the railway access to the Port of Castellon, he looked back on the defences of the study that the Ministry of Development is carrying on, being the South railway access the most immediate action.
