The Port Community is more involved in the internal management of PortCastelló, more participative in the competitive advantages and also more demanding of challenges and improvements, such as active response to the current economic situation. That is the main conclusion highlighted in the Satisfaction Study 2012, presented to private companies and public organizations operating therein.
The study, developed each four years since 2004, is based on a survey of all stakeholders (shipping agents, forwarding agents, stevedors, import-export goods, transport, port services, commercial services…). On this occasion it obtained a high participation rate, exceeding 90%. The research aims to make a good diagnosis of the services provided to the Port Community in terms of quality, price, facilities, safety and technological means compared to other ports, thus reinforcing the strengths and taking action to improve. Thus, Mr. Roberto Arzo, as PortCastelló’s director, pointed out tha the conclusions of the study are incorporated into the objectives and actions of the new Strategic Plan 2012-2017, to respond to the concerns and needs raised by the Port Community.
