The South Dock makes the creation of moorings to BP Oil possible that will replace the platform in offshore

The South Basin of the Port of Castellón will enable the creation of two berths in concession for BP Oil Company with the purpose of loading and unloading petroleum products. In this regard, the Board of Directors of the Port of Castellón agreed today to grant a concession area of ??22,000 square meters and two berths in the South Basin Contradique.

BP Oil will install mechanical arms for loading and unloading that will be united through a network of pipelines with the refinery in order to gradually replace its offshore linked facilities. Doing so, PortCastelló strengthens its commitment to the environment, so does the multinational oil company since loading and unloading will be carried out in protected water conditions.
