Last years PortCastelló has invested heavily in infrastructure and it has continued its expansion, culminating with the latest generation of port, situated in the South Basin, which has gained from the sea more than 2 million square metres.
Bet of the port diversification is being fulfilled daily, betting on traffic as cereals, clinker or biodiesel in addition to its main engines: the ceramic industry, the energy sector and agriculture.
Its offer on regular lines is gradually increasing, with routes such as the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, India, Pakistan, South Africa, West Africa, North Africa, Black Sea and more…
Notably Castellón Port Authority has recently received the Seal of Excellence EFQM 500 maximum recognition of excellence.
