At present, rail access to the Port of Castellon is via the railway line that runs from the Les Palmes siding to the North Dock.

Rail access to the South Dock is currently being undertaken with private investment. Efficient and sustainable transport flows can only be guaranteed in a port if there are good access routes that optimise transport times between the different modes of transport. Therefore, it is essential to have a south rail access and an intermodal node.
