Health campaign "Do you still smoke?"

During the first quarter of last year, the Port Authority launched a campaign aimed at all smoking employees in order to overcome his addiction to snuff.

This program was conducted from cognitive-behavioral group therapy, individualized pharmacological support depending on the individual needs of members. The campaign was conducted in five group sessions of one hour for two months follow up to see how the evolution of individual employees.

A year later, after evaluating the results obtained in this campaign, we find that 66.67% of employees who completed the therapy are still not smoking.

Purchase of portable semi-automatic defibrillation equipment

Last year, the Port Authority completed the acquisition of two portable semi-automatic defibrillation equipment for each of the port police vehicles. These devices allow virtually anyone to treat the most common cause of sudden cardiac arrest by rapid and effective administration of electric shock wherever it occurs, providing greater capacity to save lives.

For the implementation and proper management of these devices, staff training sessions conducted a total of 12 hours dedicated to the treatment of both theoretical and practical concepts on the management of product and the basic life support techniques.
