TR- WASTE COLLECTION FEE
Minimum amount “R” (80)
In order to reduce waste spill generated by ships into the sea, port authorities will charge a fixed rate to docked ships, at each stop in the port, make use or not of waste collection service. This fixed rate, depending on the Gts of the ship, will entitle them to unload the waste using land means in zone I of the port, without additional charge, during the first seven days of the call, all liquid waste annex I and solid waste of the annex V Marpol Agreement 73/78. If the collection is done by sea (barge) or takes place in zone II of the port the fixed rate will be 25 percent higher than the established for the collection in Zone I.
Service providers may agree with their users, at the providers' expense, trade discounts on the fixed rate, based on the types and annual tonnage of waste delivered.
The fixed rate to apply to a ship in each stop in a port will be the result of the minimum amount (R) by the following ratios, based on Gts:

The following discounts will be applied:
Vessel carrying a certificate from the Maritime Administration where state the generation of small quantities of waste: 20%.
When the ship does not spill waste of the annex I certifies to the port authority by means of a certificate issued by the Maritime Administration, the delivery of waste correspondig to that annex as well as the payment of the applicable taxes, in the last port the ship stopped, while ensuring the collection of all wastes in that port, and has not exceeded its storage capacity neither in the previous nor the next call: 50 %.
The ships belonging to regular shipping lines, particularly those operating in domestic traffic, if they certify to the port authority, by a certificate issued by the Maritime Administration, the existence of a plan to ensure the delivery of waste generated by ships in annexes I and V and the payment of applicable taxes in one of the ports along the ship's route, and they ensure the collection of waste when the ship calls in the port so that during none of its trips the amount of storage for each type of waste be exceeded: 100 * [1-03.0 / (n-1)] percent, where n is the number of ports on the coastline where the maritime line makes stops per week and as long as n is equal or greater than 2. However the ship will pay the total amounf of the fixed rate at the call where it spills the waste. In any case, the above vessels will not pay the fee if they stop more than once a week, and if n is equal or greater than 2.
In case c) when the vessel has a plan that only ensure the delivery of solid waste referred in annex V of MARPOL Agreement 73/78, the bonus will be only the third part in accordance with indications in c); if the ship has a plan that only ensure the delivery of liquid waste in annex I, the bonus will be two-thirds.

Rules apply: - The basis of settlement rates of the vessel will be towed GT. - These fees will be billed by maneuver regardless of the number of tugs required and include the use of the tug towing out. - Hours of Operation: 24 hours a day, every day of the year, being eliminated overtime. - The operations of the vessel without engine, with a supplement of 50%. - The operations of drydocking will be charged 50%. - Complete change operations for berthing a surcharge of 50%. - The different services of the entry, exit or removal including waiting in hand, will be charged at the rate of € 446.53 per hour or fraction of an hour.
Formula Review: In Zone I (Commercial) rates are updated using a maximum of 75% of the CPI for the previous year. In Zone II (Platform & Field buoys), and in the future enlargement of the Area I (South Basin) in relation to the scales of vessels with petroleum products, petroleum products, chemicals and natural gas, which replace the existing traffic and berths of Zone II, the update formula is made by applying maximum 100% of CPI.
Maximum taxes for the provision of towage services in the Port of Castellón (Zone II-Platform). The same rates that currently apply to the scales of traffic operating on the platform of the Zone II, shall apply in future docks loading and unloading of petroleum products, petroleum products, chemicals and natural gas Zone I port to replace the current traffic and berths Zone II.
